A Caring Place - Compassionate Connections

Services Offered:

  • Phone Buddies Program: Semi-weekly, 15-minute calls by trained volunteers to provide consistent companionship and early identification of unmet needs.

  • Social Chit Chat Groups: Bi-weekly, one-hour gatherings at the Resource Center to foster peer connection and reduce loneliness.
  • Health Literacy Workshops: Monthly, one-hour sessions led by community partners, improving participants’ ability to manage health and navigate services.

  • Neighborhood Engagement Activities: Weekly to monthly small-group activities (e.g., walking groups, coffee chats, gardening, mindfulness, book clubs) designed to build routine social interaction and community belonging.
